The IU School of Social Work Tuition Assistance Program was established to assist eligible out-of-state students who are not automatically covered by the Midwest Student Exchange Program (MSEP).

The Tuition Assistance Program limits out-of-state students’ tuition at IU to 150% of in-state tuition. *Note that international students are not eligible for this program

Eligibility Requirements:

  1. Student must be accepted into an in-person Indiana University School of Social Work MSW program (Indianapolis, Bloomington, Fort Wayne, Southeast or South Bend).
  2. Student must have attained a GPA of 3.25 or higher in their baccalaureate program.
  3. Student must reside in a state outside of Indiana that is not participating in the MSEP.

* Bloomington MSW students: Any Bloomington MSW student who has out-of-state residency and meets the criteria above is eligible to apply to the IUSSW Tuition Assistance Program.
