Tuition Assistance Program

The IU School of Social Work Tuition Assistance Program was established to provide assistance to eligible out-of-state students who are not already covered by a Midwest Student Exchange Program (MSEP).*

The Tuition Assistance Program limits out-of-state students’ tuition at IU to 150% of in-state tuition.

Eligibility Requirements:

  1. Student must be accepted into one of the IU School of Social Work MSW programs.
  2. Student must have attained a GPA of 3.25 or higher in their baccalaureate program.
  3. Student must reside in a state outside of Indiana that is not participating in the MSEP.

*Note: IU Bloomington does not participate in the MSEP; therefore any out-of-state students can be considered for this program.

The following IUSSW MSW programs participate in the Tuition Assistance program: IUPUI, IU Bloomington, IU East, IU Fort Wayne, IU Southeast & IU South Bend.
