Research Interests

My research focuses on intimate partner violence (IPV): co-occurring IPV and substance use disorder (SUD), effectiveness of interventions with men who use IPV, and community-based hybrid approaches to IPV and SUD.  

Teaching Interests

Mental health practice with adults, family violence, practice evaluation, single case evaluation, research methods, and statistics

Practice Experience

Community mental health, substance abuse prevention, Youth Service Bureaus, and independent social work practice focused on child custody evaluations in contested divorces
